Playful spooks in Main Street USA!
Disney parks are well known for their magnificent theming, so we were very much looking forward to seeing all of the Halloween decorations on our trip, and we definitely were not disappointed! The moment we first entered the turnstiles (after hearing the funny "Welcome" noise that always makes me laugh) we immediately saw the Halloween decorated entrance sign for Main Street USA train station.
Welcome to Disneyland Paris! Halloween Style!
After entering underneath the train station, we first noticed all the different ghost statues dotted around Main Street. These are for decoration purposes of course, but we couldn't pass up good photo opportunities with them!
Never pass up an opportunity for a photo with a ghost!
Apart from these ghost statues, many of the lamps were decorated to look like witches. In Frontierland, no ghosts were to be seen (well, apart from Phantom Manor!) but there were many pumpkin people, a bit like that pumpkin character from Return to Oz. Again, we had photos with these, as did many other people. Apart from the Maleficent meet and greet area, Fantasyland had no Halloween theming. Discoveryland and Adventureland were also absent from Halloween decorations, but it didn't bother me, as the areas look great without all the theming anyway, especially Discoveryland.
These pumpkin people get around everywhere at Frontierland!
I have to say, the Halloween theming was very easy on the eye and made for some very nice photos. Whether it be in America, or in Paris, Disney definitely know how to create fantastic theming for their parks.
Creating a Halloween show of my own in Disney Village!
It wouldn't be Disney without a good parade, and Halloween season, meant a new Halloween parade of course! We watched the first ever performance of Mickey's Halloween Celebration and throughly enjoyed it. It was nice to see some of the characters in their Halloween costumes. I took many photos of the parade, both times we watched it, but I definitely regretted not bringing my video camera on this trip! A new meet and greet show was also starting for the first time the day we first watched the parade. This new meet and greet is called "It's Good to Be Bad with the Disney Villains". The show beings with a song and dance number from many of our favourite Disney villains including Gaston, Captain Hook, and Cruella Deville.

Overall, the Halloween Season was definitely a good time to visit the park. I've visited Disneyland Paris when it's had no special theming, and when it's been Christmas season. This was my first time experiencing the Halloween theming, and it was very pleasing to see.
