I'm back and as excitable as ever!
I haven't written a blog until now for well over 3 months. To tell you the truth, the last three months have hit me pretty hard. Saddest of all, I lost my Disney princess. Although when I look back on it, she wasn't quite the princess I thought she was. Still, I'm sure my real Disney princess is out there somewhere! Queen Elsa, if you're reading this, I'm your man!
Elsa! I'll be your King!
Anyway, now we're into 2017, I've decided to make this one hell of a fantastic year for me! I'm not going to let the events of last year ruin this prosperous new year. What I really want to do this year is focus a lot more on all of my biggest passions and hobbies, unsurprisingly, the biggest one this year is Disneyland Paris! I mean what better place for a good 'pick me up' than Disneyland Paris!
They don't call it the 'Happiest Place on Earth' for no reason!
So Disneyland Paris I hear you say, well yes, OH YES! My favourite place in Europe is going to have a very special place in my heart this year. It always has done but this year will be extra special. My plans for the year have already begun in relation to Disneyland Paris. I'm very happy to announce that I have booked myself a solo trip! Now I must admit, the prospect of a solo trip is slightly daunting but I am honestly really looking forward to it. Having spoken to some of my many Disney friends, we have come to the conclusion that there are many benefits to visiting Disneyland Paris alone. There are so many benefits to a solo trip that I have written them down in preparation for a future blog! I'll go into more detail about preparation for my solo trip in my next blog but I thought I would let you know about my other plans for the year.
Solo trip aside, I may be visiting Disneyland Paris a second time this year. I'm currently trying to plan a November trip with my family for the Christmas season. It's far from being confirmed yet but fingers crossed!
Simply stunning during the Christmas season
What else does this year bring? One thing I can guarantee you all, more blogs, LOTS of them! One of my favourite things to do is write. I find it so therapeutic, especially when it's about something I love as much as Disneyland Paris. I sometimes have to limit myself from writing too much on these blogs!
What blogs can you expect from me this year? Well, there will be lots about my solo trip, some about my preparation, trip reports and also post-trip reviews. In fact, I've written a list of upcoming blogs, some I've already started on:
- Solo Trip - Preparation
- Solo Trip - Things I Want To Experience For The First Time (In Forever)
- Solo Trip - Day Planner
- Solo Trip - Day Reports
- My Top 10 Disneyland Paris Attractions
- History of the Disneyland Paris Hotels
- Worldwide Disney Attractions I'd Like To See At Disneyland Paris
- My Top 5 Dining Options at Disneyland Paris
- Disneyland Paris Hotel Reviews
- Michael's Top 10 Things To Know Before You Go
- The Story of Cinemagique
- My Top 5 Shops at Disneyland Paris
So as you can see there are quite a few blogs for me to get cracking on with! I'm not complaining though as you know how much I love to write about Disneyland Paris!
Before I finish this little blog, one thing I've been toying around with doing this year is making vlogs. I've filmed lots of things on previous trips to Disneyland Paris and Walt Disney World but I've never actually filmed myself while walking around the parks and discussing them. Considering how much I write about everything, I don't think making the vlogs should be too difficult for me! They not be a very good standard compared to the likes of my friends at 'dlrpfans' but I'll make them good fun for sure!

Well it's time to say goodbye again until my next blog! Once again, I would like to thank you for your patience in waiting for this blog. I know it was a long time coming but I can assure you, there will be lots more this year, not to mention some of the best I've ever written, hopefully anyway!
Last but not least. There are some people I would like to give a special mention to. Now all of these lovely people helped me through the bad times last year and have just been amazing, not to mention have all become great friends of mine. I'd like to thank the following: Bobbi, Jay and Bekkie, Adele, Immy, Rachael, Liz, you all mean so much to me. I couldn't thank you all enough for what you've done!
Take care everyone and keep sharing the Disney Village Fans love!
Love to you all!
Michael
